Most San Antonio
roofs fail early.
Yours doesn’t have to.

The cause is almost always ventilation, flashing, or decking, not the shingles. We engineer the whole system, so the next roof is the last one you buy.

The Power Package

Five documents. Most roofers hand over none of them.

A roof gets covered up as it is installed. Once the last shingle is down, you can’t see the underlayment, the flashing, or the decking underneath — so the paper trail is the only thing that makes the work verifiable. Every Atrium job closes with all five.

Certificate of Completion
Written proof the system was finished to spec, not just “done.”
Manufacturer warranty registration
Registered in your name with Owens Corning or GAF — not ours.
Impact-resistant certification
The document your insurer wants before applying a Class 4 discount.
Paid invoice
A clean, itemized record for your file, your adjuster, and your closing.
The supplier's material invoice
The distributor's own invoice showing exactly what was delivered to your address.

The last one is the document almost nobody shares — the supplier’s own material invoice proves the materials specified are the materials that were actually installed on your house.

Why engineer-led matters

A roof isn’t shingles. It’s a system.

Most roof failures don’t start with the shingle. They start with ventilation, flashing details, underlayment choice, or decking that should have been replaced.

We approach every roof as a system — deck, barrier, ventilation, flashings, and finish working together. That’s why our roofs outlast the neighborhood average.

Google reviews

San Antonio homeowners, in their own words.

Published reviews from neighbors we’ve worked for, lightly trimmed for length.

After hail hit our area, our extended family used Atrium for three new roofs in two months. They were prompt and worked hard to get us the maximum insurance reimbursement — a real contrast to the workmanship we saw going up elsewhere in the neighborhood.

San Antonio, TX · Hail replacement

Jose called quickly to set the appointment, and the quote was mid-range — not the cheapest, not the most expensive. The crew tore off three existing layers of roof in under a day and then walked the property to clear all the debris and nails.

Andres Gomez led the installation team. He carried the details all the way through — from the insurance inspector, to the installation, to the cleanup.

As a realtor, I called Atrium based on their reviews. Andres gave me genuinely useful insight into roof maintenance that I now pass along to my clients.

Frequently asked

Answers, not sales pitches.

Most full replacements land between $12,000 and $35,000 for architectural shingle systems. Premium designer shingles, metal, and tile run higher. Price depends on roof size, pitch, decking condition, ventilation upgrades, and material choice.

File a claim when a roofer documents functional damage — bruising through the mat, granule loss exposing asphalt, or cracked shingles. Cosmetic marks alone rarely justify a claim. We do a free evaluation and give you an honest answer either way.

Water finds decking, then insulation, then drywall. A $400 flashing repair becomes a $6,000 decking-and-drywall project in one wet season. Ignored leaks also feed mold — so the health cost adds up quickly.

It depends on the impact rating. Class 3 shingles handle 1.75" hail; Class 4 handle 2" hail and often earn a homeowner’s insurance discount. We can inspect your current system and tell you honestly.

Standard architectural shingles last 18–25 years in San Antonio and Hill Country heat. Premium shingles with proper ventilation and underlayment can reach 25–30 years. Poor ventilation is the #1 shortener of shingle life.

Yes. We offer 0% APR promotional plans and low monthly payment options. Most homeowners qualify in minutes. Financing makes sense when the roof is failing and cash flow matters more than paying upfront.
